UNICs are responsible for promoting greater public understanding of and support for the aims and activities of the United Nations by disseminating information on the work of the Organization to people everywhere, especially in developing countries.
UNITAMS
The UN Integrated Transition Assistance Mission in Sudan (UNITAMS) was established in 2020 to provide support to Sudan during its political transition to democratic rule, through a range of political, peacebuilding and development initiatives.

The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme contributes to peace and development through volunteerism worldwide. We work with partners to integrate qualified and highly motivated UN Volunteers into development programming and promote the value and global recognition of volunteerism.
